Our first season focused on the sense of grievance as we wanted to deal with the tension, fear, fury and hatred that can be experienced in our close or wider environment, society, and the world around us.
Tempers are still up, caused by artificially instigated tension that play upon genuine traumata and abuses. This makes us believe that to reflect upon our situation and on hauntings inherent in trauma transmission across multiple generations.
Notes from Underground based on Dostoevsky’s novella is a stage production that gives a detailed account of the inscape of an affronted person, highlighting the maze of a soul, depicting human weaknesses in an unvarnished way. Our spectators are thus invited to engage in critical self-analysis.
This is for us a bare analytical process that we hope may bring us closer to coping with them.
